Black Star Ceramics was established in April 2016 in Crewe, Cheshire. Making handmade pottery in original designs.
Purple Rainbow and Black Star Ceramics formed a relationship after Black Star donated some ceramic pieces as prizes for the Purple Rainbow Ball in 2017. All of the deep purple pottery is sold to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK

In October 2018, Black Star Ceramics moved to Baldwins Gate, Staffordshire and opened a brand new studio. Its founder Ian is an exceptionally experienced ceramicist having worked for the world famous Royal Doulton and Beswick ceramic companies.
Everything made by Black Star Ceramics is handmade using traditional techniques. We produce single piece one-off items, multi piece collections and everything in-between.
Black Star Ceramics performs the entire end to end process of ceramic making itself, therefore all its pieces are unique, bespoke and original.
Black Star Ceramics supports local business and sources all its materials and tools from Stoke-on-Trent.
