Purple Rainbow Support Group
The Purple Rainbow Support Group was set up in July 2015 to give support and advice to people and their families when affected by pancreatic cancer. The group meets every twelve weeks at locations across the county. For details of the meeting dates, times and locations see the events page.
Support Groups have been shown to improve adjustment, mood and quality of life for people affected by cancer and the Purple Rainbow group is about human warmth, friendship and companionship with people who have had or are having the same experience as you. Come along to benefit from an exchange of information about personal experiences, mutual empathy, understanding, encouragement, support and a sense of belonging.
