To support the Dying Matters awareness week, NHS England and the National Council for Palliative Care are co-hosting a webinar: Monday 8^th May 10-11am

The webinar will provide an overview of Homeward Bound – a professionally-directed, 30-minute play  performed by two actors and telling the true story of Lesley and her husband Seth Goodburn, who died at the age of 49, 33 days after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The play portrays the very real challenges that care and treatment can bring and highlights the need for compassion, care and choice to be present throughout.

Lesley Goodburn (wife of Seth) will be joining the webinar to talk about her experience and how Homeward Bound can be used to help providers and commissioners understand more about what patients and their carers need when it comes to end of life care.
