Event Details
Homeward Bound is a play by Brian Daniels commissioned by the National Council for Palliative Care that explores relationships, love, compassion and empathy at end of life.
Homeward Bound was inspired by the true story of Seth and Lesley Goodburn and their pancreatic cancer journey which lasted just 33 short and heart-breaking days from Seth’s diagnosis to his death.
The play is intended to help health care professionals and people involved in end of life care to reflect on their practice and connect to the innate humanity that is so important for patient and family centred-care when end of life is near.
Open to members of the public, students & health care professionals.
